Open Studio Days
The 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, our studio becomes your studio.  We invite you to create sample boards for clients, perfect the faux techniques learned in class, or simply enhance your personal portfolio. 

Open Studio is from 9-3pm; for $30 per hour plus the cost of sample boards, you have access to all products in our featured product lines, as well as all tools.  (except badger brushes – this is a B.Y.O.B. studio!)

$2.50 for a poster board
$3.00 for a styrene board
All boards are base coated in off-white Aquabond.  Give us a call the day before you come if you need a board coated in an alternate color. 

   
Products
FHI is an authorized dealer for Aqua Finishing Solutions and Architectural Gold Label Products manufactured by Faux Effects.  We carry all the must-haves for a painter’s toolbox – from blue tape and paintbrushes to trowels and cheesecloth. In the coming months, we will also feature art, furniture and decorative accessories on consignment from local artists.

Classes
We are a full-service teaching studio with classes ranging from a one day do-it-yourself course to a five day course for professionals. Let the Faux Happenings Institute help you gain the experience and knowledge you need to create your own masterpieces. We offer classes and classes for the beginner as well as the seasoned professional. If there is something you’re interested in learning, but don’t see it listed on our schedule, give us a call – it might be covered in one of our broad spectrum of classes.
